ConU Strikes Again

Posted by Skrud at Wednesday, April 27th 2005 at 7:58am

Gotta love Concordia’s timing and logic… I was trying to access the course web site for my COMP 353 class, hoping to look over the notes while I’m here at school; the exam is tonight. I was treated with the following message:

web server is moving

Gee. Thanks, AITS! They couldn’t wait three more days until the end of the exam period? The worst part is that the notes for this particular class were password protected, so they won’t even appear in the Google or Coral caches. Now I’ve got to SSH into my home computer and download the notes – which aren’t even the latest version. >:(

    Holy shit!!

That’s the dumbest shit I’ve ever heard in my life! Of course, the same thing happened to me last semester (only that time it was “maintenance” and only one day). I can imagine this is probably going to be down for WEEKS knowing the competance of Concordia staff!

You’re lucky you actually downloaded all those notes! Maybe you should make them available for those who are less fortunate?

(Not me of course, I’m DONE!)
